T-Shirts
T-shirts have been around for a while, but really became popular during the industrial revolution, when men were working long hours in the hot sun they needed something lighter than their jackets that still covered most of their upper body. T-shirts were a great alternative becuase they were light weight, had no sleeves and allowed men working the long days to stay cooler and be more productive throughout the work day.
T-shirts today are used for the same purpose they were for men working long hours in sun, mainly to keep cool when you still need to wear clothing. Since so many men wear t-shirts there are many different designs, styles and looks, one to match almost any personality on the planet. Many men also wear t-shirts to support their favorite sports team or band.
